Classroom Expectations

1. Respect yourself - We've developed a French program that we are really excited about, but we need each student’s participation to make it truly great. Each lesson lasts only 30 minutes, making it important that the students come in every day ready to engage themselves, to listen and to learn.

2. Respect others - The students will be learning French - something completely new to many of them - so it is important that each child in the class feels comfortable participating and taking risks with the language. We expect students to be kind and supportive of each other in class so we can make some good progress.

3. Respect your environment - The teachers of the Ray School are kind enough to let us use their classroom, so it is important that we treat their classrooms and their things with respect.
