Introductory Letter to Parents - Oct. 4, 2005
| Bonjour! | ![]() |
We are excited to be your child's French teachers this fall. Your child is about to embark on a wonderful journey of discovery and learning. Together, it is our job to teach and guide your child, but most of all, to make it a FUN process.
We will use full immersion, as much as possible. If your child feels confused, at times, in the first week or two, that is to be expected. Please encourage him/her to stick with it; they will learn a tremendous amount!
Two things you can do to help:
1) Along with this letter, you will find a handout describing "Classroom Expectations." Please read and discuss these expectations with your child before tomorrow’s class.
2) Ask your child about each day's lesson. Have them describe to you what they have learned that day. Also, please remind him/her about weekend homework assignments.
Please email Monique (moniquer@dartmouth.edu) with any questions or concerns you may have at any time this fall.
Merci beaucoup!
Monique Roy et Natalya Shulga
